Season Preview

The 5th Premier League season will coincide with season 27 of ProLeague. 12 teams have entered and to give some background on these teams, a season preview has been created.

Vinculum FC

Current Champions of the division have been predicted to finish 1st again. Vinculum have signed some very experienced players during the off season so are no doubt in the running to challenge for a 2nd title. Currently the only team from the division playing in INT 1.

FC Cadre

1 of 2 teams to have won the title playing this season, Cadre were very dissapointed to not retain their trophy after a poor start to the season. Cadre signed OnlyClank from league rivals Ahlawy SC who respectively won the top MVP, top scorer and top assister last season. However, at the other end of the pitch they have lost some very strong defenders to some rival teams.

FC Vikingar

A new team with a mix of experience and new but very talented players, Viking have made a strong impression in the pre-season and have been selected by the community to finish 3rd in their first season in the league. Vikingar will definitely have their eyes on the Premier League trophy.

Ahlawy SC

Ahlawy will play their second season and will participate in the Champions League after finishing 2nd last season. Ahlawy have had a good transfer window which included signing TheAmazingTidus from Cadre and Coopar from Spectrum.

Inter Maarel

Inter Maarel last season were in the title race for the whole season. A few poor results at the end of the season saw them fall to 4th but they feel they can improve on this. Inter Maarel will also be playing in the Europa League and aiming to get deep in to the knockout stages.

Spectrum

Formerly known as Kick Grass, Spectrum in the early parts of the season looked to be title contenders. A dip in form midway through the season saw them fall away but with the talent in the squad they will be hoping to be in and around the Champions League places.

Orcastrated

Husky has returned to managing Orcastrated and has managed to sign some of his old team that performed well in the division under his guidance. Orcastrated have a strong team ethic and will be keen to earn a European spot again.

Blind Side

A squad built with a core from teams from previous seasons, Bad Juju and Anti Rondo, Blind Side know exactly what to expect from the Premier League. Blind Side will have a good level of experience and know-how to pick results up and secure a respectable position.

Odyssey CF

A new team created to play in the Premier League, Odyssey have assembled a squad of talented individuals and will only focus on positioning well in their first season. Odyssey have shown to be a hard team to play against during their pre-season and will look to prove the community wrong in their prediction.

Ares FC

The team formally known as Gecko FC were on the brink of promotion to INT 1 but lost in the final qualifying match 1-0. The core players managed to finish 4th in INT 2 last season while the B team would play the UK League. This season all games are looked at as must win so will be looking to fight at the top of the table.

Paramount FC

The former FA Cup winners are back. Taking a season off last season, Paramount have been refreshed and are looking to make some noise in the Premier League. The famously, hard to break down team. They have signed some good players, including former INT 1 champion Moyal. Unfortunately Paramount have disbanded.

Special Pueri

Special Pueri will be dissapointed with being predicted to finish last but perhaps the size of their squad was taken in to considerration when the community was voting. With a core of players from a previous club in the league named Bad Juju, the team will know what to expect in the division and will fight to prove the community wrong.

Predictions

A survey was sent out to all the managers in the Premier League to give to the players playing in the league this season. All the players who completed the survey predicted the full table which was collated to give the results pictured.
